David Michael brings a powerful blend of financial expertise, business leadership, and client-first service to every mortgage he handles. A Georgia native now living in Athens with his wife and five children, David holds both a Bachelor’s in Accounting & Finance (Cum Laude) and an MBA with a Finance emphasis.
Before joining Element Mortgage, David worked as an investment analyst at a wealth management firm, helping manage over $6 billion in assets, including estates and trust portfolios. He later founded and grew a multi-location business to over $2 million in annual revenue and a team of over 60 people, overseeing everything from financial operations and accounting to HR and technology. This hands-on leadership experience shaped his approach to lending: diligent, detail-oriented, and always people-focused.
